The Ark is an impressive story ship seventy metres long, with four decks full of experiences. Across more than 2.000 m² you journey through the story of Noah and the animals — told in a surprisingly contemporary way.

Whatever you believe, the Ark is a place where visitors get talking with one another. About hope, about responsibility, about how we treat the world. The Ark is not a traditional museum.

Children never get bored on the Ark. They set off with a treasure hunt and an information folder and so discover all the stories on board. There is plenty to touch and experience — you can even take on Goliath.

Tickets

How can I buy tickets?
You can easily buy tickets through our website. Good to know: your €2,- ticket is also a €2,- voucher for PIER40, our restaurant opposite the Ark. Hand in your ticket there and get €2,- off your bill.
Can I also buy a ticket on site?
Yes! Just walk into PIER40, opposite the Ark. You can buy a ticket there on the spot.
What are the opening hours?
The Ark is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday from 13:00 to 18:00.
Can I cancel or change my ticket?
Tickets are not refunded after purchase and cannot be cancelled. You can change the date of your ticket, though, so you can come on another day.

Where can I find the Ark?
The Ark is moored at ZUIDYARD in Rotterdam. The address is Doklaan 40.
What is ZUIDYARD?
ZUIDYARD (Rotterdam’s Waterfront Experience) is the site where Noah’s Ark is moored. But there is much more to do! Come and spend a day playing at Spelen bij Beelen, go climbing at Gigi’s Klim World, take a ride in the Beelen Eye, enjoy good food at PIER40 or discover Rotterdam from the water with ZUIDYARD Cruise. See zuidyard.com for more information.
Is the Ark included with Spelen bij Beelen?
No. You need a separate ticket for Noah’s Ark. The Ark and Spelen bij Beelen are on the same site, though: ZUIDYARD. So you can easily visit both on the same day.
How do I get to the Ark and ZUIDYARD?
You can visit us by bike, by public transport and by car. We are very easy to reach!
Can I park at the Ark and ZUIDYARD?
Certainly! There is plenty of parking on our own grounds. Parking costs €4,- per hour or €22,- for a day ticket. Just dropping someone off or picking them up? That’s fine too. The first 15 minutes of parking are free.
How long will Noah’s Ark stay in Rotterdam?
That is not yet known. Would you like to visit the Ark? Then come soon!

Yes! The Ark is suitable for the whole family.
Is the Ark accessible for people with disabilities?
No, unfortunately the Ark is not accessible for people with disabilities. Other attractions at ZUIDYARD are accessible.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No, bringing your own food and drink is not allowed on the Ark or at other attractions at ZUIDYARD.

Certainly! Large groups can simply buy tickets through our website too.
