1. Who are we?
Noah’s Ark is responsible for processing personal data as described in this privacy policy. Noah’s Ark is part of ZUIDYARD on the Doklaan in Rotterdam.

2. What data do we process?
We only process data you give us yourself or that is needed to run this website:
- your email address and the page you signed up on, if you subscribe to the newsletter;
- your name, email address and the content of your message, if you email us;
- technical data needed to show the website, such as your IP address and browser type.
3. Tickets
You buy tickets in our ticket shop at tickets.arkmuseum.eu. Your order and payment details are processed there to deliver your ticket. The terms and privacy policy shown in that ticket shop also apply.
4. What do we use your data for?
We use your data to send you the newsletter, answer your questions and keep the website working safely. We do not use it for other purposes without your consent.
With your consent we also measure how the website is used and how our advertising performs; see Cookies below.
We process data based on your consent (newsletter), because it is needed for an agreement (tickets) or because of our legitimate interest in a secure website and in answering your questions.
Your consent is the basis for statistics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
5. Who do we share data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us provide these services, and only as far as needed:
- Netlify, our hosting provider, which serves the website and stores newsletter sign-ups;
- Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces of this website;
- the ticket shop, for your ticket order;
- Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics: statistics on how the website is used, only after your consent to statistics;
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited – Meta Pixel: measuring and improving advertising on Facebook and Instagram, only after your consent to marketing;
6. How long do we keep data?
We keep data no longer than needed for the purpose we received it for, unless the law requires longer. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
7. Cookies
Necessary storage in your browser keeps your cookie choice. We only use other cookies and trackers if you allow them in the cookie notice.
Statistics: Google Analytics measures which pages are visited. It only loads after you give consent.
Marketing: with the Meta pixel we measure how our advertising performs. It loads only after you give consent.
If you arrive through an ad or campaign link, we pass the campaign details from that link (such as utm_source) on to the ticket shop, so we can see which campaign leads to an order. Ad click IDs (such as gclid or fbclid) are only passed on with your consent to marketing.
We also keep your choice in the cookie zy_consent on arkmuseum.eu, so the ticket shop uses the same choice.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookies at the bottom of every page. Sites we link to, such as the ticket shop or social media, use their own cookies under their own policy.
To load the typefaces your browser connects to Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website always uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict processing, object, and withdraw your consent. Email us at info@arkmuseum.eu to do so.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
10. Changes
We may update this privacy policy when our website, services or the law change. The latest version is always on this page.
